How it works:
Using the cutting-edge technology, Mirror® 3-D Plastic Surgery imaging can be part of your initial consultation with our plastic surgeon Dr. Ditesheim. Here’s how it works: patients considering cosmetic plastic surgery procedures such as rhinoplasty, face and neck surgery, and even liposuction can be photographed with a special camera from a variety of angles. The images are manipulated with special software that compiles an array of information specific to each patient, ultimately resulting in an 3-D image that displays the possible results from the procedure, based on the data fed into the computer.
Mirror® 3-D Plastic Surgery imaging system allows Dr. Ditesheim to adjust the results of the image to more accurately reflect your goals. In other words, if you’d like a slightly different result than what’s first shown, new data input can revise the original image to better reflect the outcome you desire. Again, nothing can predict the future, but the Mirror® 3-D imaging system can give you a general idea of how your aesthetic enhancement may work.
