Dr. Jeffrey A. Ditesheim

I have always had a desire to help people. I was attracted to a career in medicine and surgery, in particular, because of the specialized skills a surgeon needs to master to help his patients. As a medical student at New York University, I was influenced by some of the world’s premier plastic surgeons. Plastic surgery was unique in being able to combine medical knowledge, surgical skills with innovation and creativity. Training in plastic surgery at Harvard, I learned that each patient would need a unique plan. The challenge was to draw upon what was known and to think of new solutions to achieve the very best results.

Since training, almost 16 years ago, I have changed many techniques to achieve better or more lasting anatomical changes with more predictable recovery. My passion has never changed. I want to help each person with a unique plan that will render a more positive body image and in doing so, enable a sense of greater personal empowerment.

I am happily married with three children and I enjoy golfing and skiing.

Jan Stanbro, Office Manager

I have 30 years of experience in the medical field. I have been with Ditesheim Cosmetic Surgery for the last six years. Part of my job is to make sure clients get all of the information and guidance they need to have their surgical procedures from answering all of their questions to helping with financing and scheduling appointments. I believe that we have an exceptional team and provide the best experience for our clients. I am married and have three children and two dogs. I love to read and travel.

Debra Scott, RN, BSN

I have been a nurse for 21 years. I am passionate about caring for my patients in their cosmetic surgery experience. My primary role is to educate and prepare patients for surgery and recovery. I am also a certified nurse-injector for Botox and Juvederm. I am married, have 2 children, and one awesome Yellow Lab. I enjoy running, reading, and lounging on the beach.

Lainie Gunderson, Patient Coordinator

Along with our team at Ditesheim Cosmetic Surgery I assist all of our clients with scheduling appointments and helping them through the process of having surgery. I can share with you the outstanding credentials, board certifications and professional affiliations of Dr. Ditesheim. Our Surgical Center

Located in the Blakeney – Ballantyne area of south Charlotte, our surgical center provides a unique experience for patients to have cosmetic surgery in a very private, very safe setting. The operating facility is accredited by the AAAASF, a national certifying agency. Dr. Ditesheim designs a customized plan for each patient to achieve the best technical results and a predictable recovery, so to do so, he wants the intraoperative anesthesia and recovery to be as easy and predictable as possible. We choose to work with an anesthesiologist. Anesthesiologists are doctors specifically trained to manage any conditions while undergoing surgery and provide an environment that’s as safe as the leading hospitals in the country.

The nursing staff in the operating and recovery room are hand selected and each of the staff has extensive experience in their particular area. As an option Dr. Ditesheim has privileges at Charlotte area hospitals.
